Continuing the vein of transforming their creative process, label bosses Kassian release their 4th EP on their imprint Faux Poly. ‘Intimate Empty Club Room’ delivers rich layered soundscapes full of experimental harmonics and an unwillingness to be tied down to any specific club genre. The EP explores different senses of space, tone and reverberation, which are characterised in the name of each track; Shimmer, Hollow & Fade. The names themselves reflect the aesthetic of the rooms that the tracks were designed for.

Kassian is a London-based duo comprising Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers, operating from 38East Studios in Hackney since forming in 2019. The pair produces deep house and electronica for labels including !K7 Records, Shall Not Fade, and Phonica White, with their debut "The Premise" on Heist Recordings earning a Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards nomination.
