Rudimental is a four-piece dance group from Hackney, London, formed in 2010 with members Amir Izadkhah, Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, and Leon Rolle. Their releases span drum & bass, house, and afro house across Atlantic Records UK and Defected.
Shermanology is a Dutch sibling group consisting of Andy, Dorothy, and Leon Sherman, raised in Curaçao and now based between Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The trio produces tech house and afro house across labels including their own D'EAUPE imprint, Defected, and Nervous Records since launching in 2009.
Todd Edwards is an American producer from Bloomfield, New Jersey, now based in Los Angeles, whose intensive vocal sampling techniques heavily influenced UK garage in the mid-1990s. His house and tech house releases appear on Defected Records, showcasing the chopped-up vocal style that defined his garage house sound.
