British house DJ and producer Darius Syrossian was born in Tehran in 1974 and moved to Manchester in 1987, later relocating to Leeds. He produces tech house and deep house tracks for labels including Hot Creations, Defected, and his own imprint Moxy Muzik, which he launched in 2018.
Katherine Brown is a house vocalist from Charleston, South Carolina who moved to New York in the late 1960s and performed in gospel and R&B groups including Sweet Cinnamon. Her house music releases appear on Defected Records, Glitterbox Recordings, Get Physical Music, and Toolroom, spanning jackin house, tech house, and nu disco styles.
