Behind the Deep House Release
Its been a minute since weve had Dilby on the label. His last one for us was his killer version of Trippin featuring Liv Campbell. Here he takes on another classic house music sample – Clivilles and Coles 2Fierce with Feel It. This refrain was a perennial favourite in the 90s but was probably most famously used by Da Slammin Phrogs in their 2000 hit Something About The Music. On Dilbys version, he teams up with Vegas-based vocalist Trice Be (who you will know from his huge version of I Heard It Through The Grapevine (titled as Grapevine) and takes the sample on a stellar deep house journey. With vocal tones that hark back to classic 80s house Trice Be delivers soul aplenty while Dilbys raw deep house hypnotics provide the perfect backing. Superb.

Dilby is New Zealand DJ and producer Dylan Lee Syben, who now lives in Berlin, Germany. His deep house and tech house productions appear on Mother Recordings, Glasgow Underground, Bar 25 Music, and Bondage Music, spanning melodic house to underground dance floor cuts.
Trice Be produces house music across tech house and deep house styles. The artist releases on Glasgow Underground and Trick, with six releases spanning from March to December 2025.
