Backhaus VA Vol. 5 consists of four tracks that showcase different styles whithin the Backhaus realm. First, Vivez, who previously released on the BKHSX catalog, sets the stage with Restorative – a groovy, loopy tool that brings you the classic Vivez soundscapes, detailed sound design, and rhythmic claps. Max Tebberts Corium follows with a massive kick-bass combo, accompanied by a slapping question-and-answer theme and trippy textures. Next, Kareem El Moor contributes an expertly crafted composition of dubs and hypnotizing sirens titled Soboku, topped off with playful hat patterns and a crunchy ride. Closing the compilation, Joline Scheffler and Jan Goertz cast a spell with their track Within the Process. Mysterious whispers meet rhythmic textures and a bouncy bassline.
