On Board Music returns for its sixth installment of the Various Artists EP series, but this time with a different approach. Five fresh remixes breathe new life into Point C, originally released in 2021 and consisting of tracks from Foreign Material, Hironori Takahashi, Hiver, Sylve and Alan Backdrop. For the 2024 update, On Board enlists five of the finest deep techno practitioners to twist the originals into bold new forms. US artist Patrick Russell dives deep into his signature, tripped-out zone, with dub and half-time sensibilities grounding the remix in an eyes-down headspace. Estrato Aurora, who remixes Hivers cut, goes equally subterranean, perfectly setting up the nimble drumming and bright melodies of Polygonias contribution. On the B-side, Forest On Stasys melts the synths of Alan Backdrops Oelo into an ever-evolving slice of dance floor psychedelia, before Detroit luminary Erika focuses on a syncopated, shuffling rhythm. Together, the five tracks cover extensive ground, all bound by the uniquely hypnotic sound that On Board is well known for.

Alan Backdrop is Italian producer Alessio Meneghello, active since 2013 with nine releases spanning peak time techno to ambient explorations. His driving techno and dub techno productions appear on Semantica Records, On Board Music, and Sense Code.
Foreign Material is Martin Respaut, a French-born producer based in Brussels who co-founded the Norite label. His techno spans raw hypnotic textures to peak-time driving rhythms across releases on Navigare Audio, Circular Limited, Subosc, and On Board Music since 2019.
Hironori Takahashi is a Japanese DJ and producer based in Tokyo. His music spans peak time driving techno and raw hypnotic techno alongside ambient electronica, with releases on On Board Music and Informa Records since 2013.
Hiver is an Italian duo consisting of Giuseppe Albrizio and Sergio Caio, active since 2012 with 18 releases across labels including !K7 Records, Curle Recordings, and Just This. The group produces peak time techno, indie dance, and modern electro with driving energy suitable for both underground floors and festival main stages.
