No stranger to Eskimo Recordings Andrew Armstrong now brings his latest project, Daddy Squad, to the Belgian label with Love On The Rocks, an exquisite modern disco track that provides the perfect backdrop for the seductive vocals of celebrated French chanteuse Corine. Id long been a fan of Corines soft vocals and disco jams, so I was delighted when she followed me back on Instagram, Andrew explains. We finally met in Madrid when Corine was performing there and we quickly cemented the idea of working together. The pair have turned their hand to a faithful, if wonderfully pumped up, cover of Lamas 1983 Italo classic Love On The Rocks. Corines breathy vocals find the perfect foil in Andrews analogue machines as they deliver a heady mix of oiled up arpeggios, disco beats and chichi melodies that sparkle like a well-polished mirrorball.
