What we love about house, techno and all the flavours inbetween is how, more than any other form of music, they can stop you in your tracks, induce goosebumps on the spot, and leave you saying to anyone who is within earshot – what is that track / have you heard THIS / where the hell can I get it? Thats why we do what we do, pure and simple. And Andrew Sant has delivered not one, but two tunes which do all of the above by the truckload. The Call first reared its head on our Showcase 20 collection, and instantly demanded a stand-alone release. Andre Espeuts oh so soulful vocal – part sung / part spoken – allied to Andrews exquisite piano motifs are house music at its most timeless and pure. This release includes its brand new mastering, and also features an instrumental version that is dynamite in its own right. And theres more! Rollin On sees Andrew team up with another brilliant vocalist, no less than Pauline Taylor, famous for her work with Rollos Cheeky stable in the 90s, and more recently with leading house imprints Classic, Nervous and F*CLR. About Andre Espeut, Andrew Sant & Pauline Taylor – House Artists
Andre Espeut is a London-born vocalist and songwriter who has been active in the soul, funk, boogie, disco and house scenes since the early 2000s. His releases span house, deep house, tech house and nu disco across labels including Large Music, Compost, Selador and Lumberjacks In Hell.
Andrew Sant produces melodic house and techno with deep house and Afro house influences across six releases on Electrobuzz. His tracks appear on Selador and Global Underground, spanning tempos from deep house grooves to indie dance rhythms.
Pauline Taylor is a British vocalist known for her work with Faithless and Rollo Armstrong's projects including "Love Love Love, Here I Come" and "Let This Be A Prayer." Her house and melodic house & techno releases appear on Classic Music Company, Nervous Records, and Selador.
