Behind the Techno (Peak Time / Driving) : Release Notes

Techno powerhouses Mijk van Dijk and Alex Blanco join forces to deliver two tracks of gargantuan, industrial floor-filler for Kneaded Pains. Both decorated veterans with decades spanning careers and previous collaborators for Kneaded Pains, and Trapez – Mijk van Dijk for the likes of MFS and Superstition Records, best known here for the track Schöneberg from his Marmion project. Alex Blanco has been active across numerous pseudonyms over the years and produced for such independent giants as Toolroom and majors like Universal and Sony. Lead single The Clave is a dark, throbbing, industrial affair with sub heavy kicks, and pulsating distorted synthwork while More Cowbell rides on pounding, skippy drums and jittering, hypnotic percussion.
