The fourth volume of the Opening series, Famine by ØLMØ (UK), delivers a deep, conceptual journey with five original tracks and a remix by STNDRD. The EP explores the edges of Techno, shifting from ambient darkness to dancefloor hypnosis, all wrapped in grainy textures and emotional depth. The release opens with Planets, a dark and obscure piece that sets a sinister tone. Down-tempo and shadowy, it feels like a slow dive into the unknown. NO ID introduces a groovy, danceable vibe with bouncy momentum and clear, cutting cymbals. A functional yet vibrant track aimed straight at the floor.
