Canadian-born, Miami-based PRIMO is an artist on the rise. Last years Afro-house anthem, Mami Colombiana, kicked things off before two huge collaborations with BADDIES ONLY (now thankfully renamed JOHN ELLE) pushed his silky Reggaeton vocals into overdrive. Pensando En Ti follows up his earlier colllab with Kevin McKay, Freaky, and continues their vocal-charged Afro. Pitched somewhere between the deeper guitar-based groove of Maz (Br) and the tougher tones of RBOR (with a touch of Buscando Money), this is a dancefloor-friendly Afro house that will work in more chilled musical settings, too. Superb.
