Its another StabUdown Productions belter from Clevelands finest, James A Donadio (or Jimmy to his adoring friends)! This is the return of a Diagonal Records mainstay. Jimmy is one of the earliest and most cherished additions to the labels sprawling and dysfunctional family. This LP is a little different. Its the culmination of 12 months working with a reappraised creative ethos. Throughout the process, Jimmys interest in Krishna Consciousness & Dharma Yoga was deepening. Both went on to become deeply infused in this music. Its a body of work completely uninformed by the music of others. The Tinge of Ascension LP is made up of nine tracks rich in a rhythmic sensibility. All tracks are ethereal in nature. Tempos are varied and rendered irrelevant. Jimmys masterful use of sampling is on display as ever.
