Behind the Tech House : Release Notes

Amine Edge is a DJ with a keen nose for a killer tune. As a producer, hes delivered classics; as a label owner (with CUFF), hes been supplying DJs with cooking content since 2014. One of his latest discoveries is TAD, a Parisian producer. This years CUFF release, Places, is a superb slice of tech house with a bouncy bassline and clever hooks. Despite his relative anonymity within the DJ community, it went straight onto the playlists of Jen Payne and Kevin McKay. Kevin then contacted him for a GU release, and Be Mine resulted. Road-tested at Kevins recent Fire show, this mix of razor-sharp rhythms and bubbling bass smashed the floor at Londons premier 6 am party zone. Its a banger.
