A bold two-track EP that fuses deep tech minimalism with rich cultural textures and irresistible groove marks the hundred and sixteenth release on 12+1 London, signed by the label boss, u z z v. On the A-side Compton, a gritty, forward-thinking collaboration with ILLES. Deep tech sensibilities meet raw hip-hop energy, with samples lifted straight from the Compton rap lineage. The result: tight percussion, a heavy low-end, and razor-sharp vocal cuts that ride a stripped-back, dark groove, bringing West Coast attitude to the minimal underground. On the B-side, Baila Conmigo sees the artist flying solo with a percussive, rolling cut that leans into Spanish influences.
