As 2025 approaches its summer season, Astral Records unveils Part IV of their Momentum series. Following on from their highly stylized brand of melodic house and techno, the label continues to push the boundaries of this burgeoning genre, focusing on its innovative aspects, while never losing sight of the cosmic qualities that has made the sound so appealing to many. With an emphasis on melody, emotion and the dancefloor, Astral Records now unveils Part IV of their beloved Momentum series, featuring exclusive new music from (in order of appearance) Apex Sound, Cyantist & Rob Hes, Recuero, Kadhem, I.AM and LowCree. Selection one finds Apex Sound, making his label debut with Visions. Hailing from the Netherlands, Apex Sound is an emerging talent within the electronic spectrum. The Dutch artist arrives on Astral with a cohesive sound that often shares the creative space between deep progressive, techno and modern melodic techno styles. A short but meticulous discography is highlighted by releases via Addictive Sounds, OHM Deep State and Ultraviolet Music, well received projects which have earned play and support from John 00 Fleming, Markus Schulz and Shane54 & Omnia. His much-anticipated Astral debut gets the fourth installment of Momentum underway with a dreamy breakbeat cut which excels on its use of profound emotional narratives and cinematic qualities. Making their label debut with selection two Fragments of Her are Cyantist & Rob Hes. Hailing from the Netherlands, Cyantist & Rob Hes have been occasional studio collaborators across the last calendar year. Well received projects via Einmusika, Enormous Vision, Pursuit and Spectrum (NL), amongst others, have firmly established the duos contemporary take on modern techno music. An emphasis on melody, groove and club-effective qualities has made each one of their creations an absorbing experience, propelling the Dutch duo to be one of their countrys in demand production teams. With Ey Sareban, a single for the prolific Sekora imprint highlighting their 2025 release schedule, Cyantist & Rob Hes continue to impress with the meditative qualities and superlative vocal manipulations of their Astral debut Fragments of Her. Moving forward to selection three its Recuero who makes his label debut with Innertia. Based in Uruguay, Recuero is a producer and DJ who has been a rising force across the last three years. Perhaps better known as a DJ, Recuero has shared the booth with international greats Coeus, D-Nox, Denis Horvat, Marino Canal, Øostil and Ubbah, in turn earning praise for his unique melodic identity and smooth programming style. As a producer, Recuero boasts a short resume highlighted by releases for 3rd Avenue, Click Records, Coalescentia and Timeless Moment. With a continued evolution in sound pushing his career forward, Recuero now embarks on his much anticipated Astral Records debut with the fiery peak-time creation Innertia. For the collections fourth selection we travel to Tunisia and welcome Kadhem to the label with Ripple Effect. Currently based in Paris, Kadhem has achieved measurable success since first emerging in 2019. His emotive slant on the melodic house and techno genre has served him well, landing impressive projects for Harabe Black, Siona Records, Steyoyoke and Sunexplosion, amongst others, while Fideles, Haze-M, and Nick Devon have been primary supporters of his work. With a well-received two-track showcase for Outer Space Oasis highlighting his spring season, Kadhem now enters the summer season with his much-anticipated Astral debut, the stripped back, glitched-out and tastefully emotive sounds of Ripple Effect. The collections lone returnee I.AM makes his third appearance on the label with Endless Faith. Hailing from Israel, Amit Maimon aka I.AM entered the world of melodic house and techno as a DJ first, channeling languages of varied musical landscapes into his sets, and churning them into his own complex rollercoaster of intricate melodic techno. Gigs at some of his countrys trendiest venues such as The Maze, made I.AM a name to watch as he approached his production debut, the Astral vehicle Falling to Pieces. Released during the spring of 2024 and backed by remixes from Paul Anthonee and Omar Khalifa & Turako, it established I.AM as an emerging production talent. Moving forward I.AM would record projects for Awen Records and Outer Space Oasis, along with a return to Astral late last year with a contribution to the labels third installment of Momentum. Now, continuing to build on his creative partnership with the label, I.AM returns to Astral with the emotive, goosebump inducing sounds of Endless Faith. The release concludes with LowCree making his label debut with Afterlove. Hailing from Mexico, Erick Diego aka LowCree has emerged from his countrys burgeoning electronic music scene with a unique blend of Electro and Melodic House and Techno, in turn earning him releases via Black Turtle Records, Prosoul Records and Progressive Vibes Light. Now set to continue his ascent, LowCree embarks on the most important release of his career, making his Astral Records debut with the nostalgic, trance-inspired sounds of Afterlove.
