BTECH, Scandinavias very first underground house label, continues its cultural mission of digging deep into the archives of classic tracks from the early days of house. With Northern House Classics Back to the Underground, we focus primarily on the first half of the 1990s perhaps the very best years in BTECHs history. It was an era of unrestrained creativity and unexpected collaborations between producers, DJs, and artists from around the world. BTECH brought together a unique cast of names, including New York tranny star Donna Giles, soul guru Gwen McCrae, local rave pioneers MDA, chillout stars Natural Experience and house legends Clubland. And here they are again. Long live oldskool house!
