Italian multi-faceted duo Alfa Romero makes a mark with their first release on Eleatics, titled Aurora — a three-track EP that dives deep into the dynamic crossroads of melodic techno, experimental electronics, and emotive progression. Opening with the title track Aurora, the EP sets the tone with bold, dramatic synth work and a richly layered structure. The track balances drive with elegance, combining rhythmic precision and immersive melodic phrasing to capture the intensity of a club moment with artistic finesse. Next comes Overdrive, the most experimental cut of the trio. Angular and aggressive at times, the track is packed with energy and incorporates sharp guitar riffs and jagged percussive elements, pushing Alfa Romeros sound into new high-voltage terrain. Closing the release is Womb, a more contemplative yet emotionally charged piece.
