What links Moby, Snap and Whitney Houston? The answer is New York songwriter Toni Colandreo. They wrote Loves Gonna Get You for Jocelyn Brown (as sampled by Moby in Go and Snap in The Power) and also this song, Love Will Save The Day. The Whitney album that the music featured on was a massive record for Kevin McKay in the late 80s, and the original Jellybean production (and David Morales remixes) were in constant rotation on his turntables. His many visits to Londons Roast parties (where the dancefloor reciprocates his love of Whitney) led to an edit of the original and now, this cover version. Wrapping the iconic topline in tough beats, driving bass and some killer chord stabs, Kevin has taken this funky 80s jam into house heaven. Every time weve seen it drop, it has gone off!
