Yet another percussive statement by the rising artist K.eem. He makes his debut on Eastern Standard with a delicately written two-track EP, that embodies tension— the little internal rage. The title track Motto revolves around a tremendous cowbell freestyle, which jumps around sharp stabs and a harsh groove. Encapsulating tribal shouts match the high energy of the instrumental. Push Through offers an indie approach to the rage. With its powerful breakbeat percussion, anxious synths, and monotonous vocals, its a hypnotizing track with a bit of sass. Both tracks showcase his trademark percussive style, his motto.
