Behind the Progressive House : Release Notes

Rising out of Sri Lankas progressive house underground and making his debut on Ruben Karapetyans RKP is ANix JAy. As a DJ across his countrys vibrant nightlife for over a decade, it wasnt until 2018 in which Colombo resident ANix JAy turned his hand to production, beginning with Ableton Live and Acid, a passion which would eventually lead to his artist debut in 2020. A series of releases for Another Life Music and Elastic Dimension would establish JAys nostalgic approach to the progressive genre, and propel him to future projects via AH Digital, Eat My Hat and MNL, while garnering support from some of the genres key tastemakers, most notably Hernan Cattaneo. With the first half of 2025 being one of ANixs most prolific periods to date, the Colombo resident keeps that momentum flowing, making his RKP debut in grand fashion with Crazy, alongside a remix from Juan Ibanez.
