Blue Mondays is a blend of many different styles that perfectly represents the eclectic vision of Ferratzingher and Keemani, one thing you should expect from their productions or dj set, is that they always keep it interesting, they easily move from house to new wave to reggae to disco to idm to whatever they feel. Its a distillate of more than 20 years of djing, 15 years of productions, and an entire life of passion for music. The duo is back on Rebirth with Loss of Identity, featuring the vocals of the US legend John Holiday aka Johnny Dangerous aka Foremost Poets. Philadelphia born, but raised in Newark, New Jersey, John is one of the original inventors of The Deep House Sound through his own blend of future funk & spoken word. His underground hits Reasons To Be Dismal?, Problem 13 and MoonRaker are house music classics, crossing over into many styles of electronic dance music. Loss of Identity is a distinctive mix of raw energy, hypnotic sounds and powerful vocals. And what can we say if the original version is coupled by a very strong remix by one of the most followed emerging artists? In fact the disco heartbeat of Toy Tonics, the Italian DJ and producer Sam Ruffillo, gave us a version mixing the taste of the Mediterranean disco and funk with the 90s house adding an energy that takes you straight to the dancefloor.
