The latest release on Madlochs Crossfade Sounds welcomes Argentine artist Nico Cassou for his label debut with the Spoken Words EP. Based in Buenos Aires, Nico first appeared in 2013 on sister label 3rd Avenues We Are the Future (Fall 2013) compilation, before stepping away from production for nearly a decade. Now, after a long hiatus, he returns with his first solo EP, marking a fresh chapter in his career. Featuring five originals — Momentary, Electric Vortex, Eco N Deep, Little Dub, and Spoken Words — the collection explores a refined crossover between dub and deep techno, rich in hypnotic grooves and immersive textures. A confident return, Spoken Words EP signals Nico Cassous re-entry into the scene with a sound that feels both matured and forward-looking.
