About Close Counters & Kapote – Deep House Artists
Close Counters is a Melbourne duo comprising Allan McConnell and Finn Rees. The group produces house, deep house, and tech house tracks for labels including Snatch! Records, Toy Tonics, and Glitterbox Recordings.
Kapote is Berlin-based Italian-German producer Mathias Modica, who runs the Toy Tonics label and previously released as Munk on Gomma Records. His house productions span deep house, funky house, and Afro house territories, with 75 releases on Toy Tonics since 2015.
