The latest release on Madlochs Crossfade Sounds welcomes French producer m.n.lith with a four-track showcase entitled In My Heart. Known under multiple guises including his alias Mime, the Tours-based artist has steadily built a reputation for immersive sound design, drawing from dub techno, deep techno and ambient spheres. His work has appeared on imprints such as Standard Deviationn as well as Melotonin, Insectorama, and Liberty Rhythm, while also serving as founder of LOST AREA, a collective bridging underground culture in Paris and beyond. Opening with the title piece In My Heart, m.n.lith sculpts a slow-burning journey, where deep-rooted basslines and airy textures intertwine to reveal a hypnotic flow. The narrative continues with Spacew.rm, a collaborative effort with fellow French producer Ganlan, which expands the palette into darker dub territories, punctuated by subtle rhythms and a meditative undertow. Rounding out the release are two further originals, each exploring spacious frameworks and finely layered atmospheres, cementing the EP as both versatile and cohesive.
