Devastating dance floor rhythms from Slam on the Wave Tension EP Slam continue to up their momentum with the first single since their massive new album Dark Channel. Once again, the sole focus being straight up techno, designed for the dance floor, as they drop the 3 track Wave Tension EP. Never content to remain stationary, the latest EP has the duo in fine form as they drive to evolve the contemporary techno sound. Title track Wave Tension is a relentless, driven opener as slightly distorting synths mutate throughout the track pursued by Slams ever distinctive rhythms. Lost Pattern continues in hard hitting fashion with alarm-like synths pushing the intensity before Violence closes out the EP with warping and viscous dynamics that create propulsive atmospherics.
