Remixes III brings fresh reinterpretations to some of the standout tracks on the Purified Records catalogue, showcasing the transformative power of the remix. From serene, atmospheric takes to euphoric, trance-infused highs, the compilation highlights the depth and diversity of electronic music while offering listeners new ways to experience familiar favorites. Opening the release, Monkey Safari takes on Sintra, Luch & Landon Ryles Brighter Days, delivering a stripped-back, luminous version that emphasizes airy textures while retaining the originals heartfelt emotion. Delta Vaults casts a darker, more introspective shadow over Sincas Silver Lines, weaving moody synths and subtle tension into the melodic framework. Alex Breitling reimagines Jack Emerys Halo with a staccato, fast-paced energy, injecting playful urgency into the ethereal original, while Aedan Terras Shadows Of Us evolves into a trancey, anthemic journey, with euphoric builds and expansive atmospheres that elevate the hypnotic textures of the original into a peak-time experience. The Remixes III artwork is a photograph by Jan Erik Waider, taken of glacial ice, captured within an ice cave inside Breiðamerkurjökull – a glacial tongue of Vatnajökull. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us. Vatnajökull, Icelands largest glacier, captivates with its fascinating textures and the breathtaking blue tones of its ice. These features arise from the compression of snow layers over time, resulting in distinct bands and textures within the glacier. As the glacier moves, it interacts with the underlying landscape, gradually eroding and shaping the ice, which exposes fresh surfaces and reflects light in various shades of blue. The result is a breathtaking display of glacial beauty, shaped by natural forces over centuries.
