In times of disturbance, the world has to adjust to current needs, at 30D we are no exception and are striving to adapt to the situation we are all living through today. The label is fully aware of the efforts and changes that our community are facing at these difficult times and with our strong belief in the power of music, we have decided to continue to release new material. Our sub-label Close Encounters publishes its third release Third Contact EP on April 24th 2020, bringing together a range of artists to express their musical vision as a virtual union, somewhat reflective of the globes current confinement. Third Contact EP’ delivers four tracks from an alliance of artists who are at a peak in their careers; Denise Rabe clearly defines her dark, hypnotic trade-mark aesthetic in ‘We’ll Meet In Shanghai’, a timeless track even before its release. Geistform combines industrial-electro with a raw techno drive, continuously channelling his masterful energy in ‘3C 273’. A more dancefloor-oriented B side features Stolen from Temudo, delivering rolling groove and distorted bass-lines, Adriana Lopez closing the EP with her high energy, spellbinding SMV, both B-side tracks perfectly geared toward a wide variety of DJ sets. We are thrilled to debut all four artists on 30D Records and happy to share this with you in these strange times, thank you in advance for your collaboration during this very special situation we are experiencing today.

Adriana Lopez is a Colombia-born, Barcelona-based techno producer who runs the Grey Report label. She produces peak time and raw hypnotic techno for labels including Stroboscopic Artefacts, 30D Close Encounters, and Illegal Alien LTD.
German producer Denise Rabe runs the Rabe label and has released on Stroboscopic Artefacts, 30D ExoPlanets, and DOMU Records since 2018. Her tracks span raw and hypnotic techno to peak-time driving cuts and house music.
Geistform is Rafael Martinez Espinosa, a Spanish producer from Barcelona who has released music since 2014. His sound spans peak time and raw hypnotic techno alongside industrial and rhythmic noise elements, with releases on Sacred Court, 30D ExoPlanets, and Selvamancer.
João Rodrigues, known as Temudo, is a techno artist from Lisbon, Portugal who owns Tema Mastering. His raw and hypnotic techno productions appear on labels including Soma Records, Planet Rhythm, Hayes, and Clergy.
