Remixed Rotating fractures the seamless cosmos of Planctophobs acclaimed album Rotating into a new constellation of possibilities. Where the original traced perfect circles across the asteroid belt – a meditation on cosmic cycles, repetition and the elegance of order – the remix edition detonates like a hydrogen flash in the silence of space. What was once a self-contained system is now dismantled, its orbiting bodies scattered, examined and reassembled through the singular visions of eight boundary-pushing artists. The first half of the release bends towards alternative minimal techno and micro house, where Dopamin Synaps, Herck, Tom Welling and Ludviq strip elements to their molecular essence, reconfiguring them into hypnotic micro-structures. The second half descends deeper into the gravitational well of techno, as Duniz, Sporegular, Nicko Shuo and Drvg Cvltvre push the material into darker, more forceful and hypnotic terrains. Each artist isolates and transforms elements of the original work, creating independent pieces that expand the scope of the project while maintaining its cosmic inspiration. Remixed Rotating stands as a parallel vision – fragmented and experimental, highlighting the strength of collaboration and reinterpretation in contemporary electronic music.
