Founded in the late 90s by Finnish-born DJ, producer, and tastemaker Klas Lindblad (aka Sasse), Moodmusic has become a cornerstone for forward-thinking house, techno, and electronic sounds. With STR 4 LYF, Sasse delivers a release that bridges the timeless Moodmusic aesthetic—soulful, deep, and raw—with a contemporary edge that looks firmly toward the future. Reaching 300 releases feels surreal, says Sasse. Moodmusic has always been about community, quality, and longevity. STR 4 LYF is my way of paying tribute to everyone who has supported the label, the artists whove released with us, and the dancefloors that keep the spirit alive. Over the past three decades, Moodmusic has championed a diverse roster of talent, releasing defining records from artists such as Henrik Schwarz, Martin Dawson, Dave DK, and many more.
