Crazy Nutz Music brings together two artists who embody the fusion of Latin, tribal, and modern Tech House: Soar, a Mexican-born DJ and producer based in Houston, and XTK, from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, a recognized figure in the underground scene. Soar has crafted his style with inspiration from Miami, Mexico City, and Las Vegas, releasing music on labels such as Dacussan, Duff, RatilRecords, and Fuckingsoundside, with support from Chasewest, Jamie Jones, and Acraze. As a DJ, he has performed at FreakyDeaky, Bauhaus, and Latin Groove Puerto Rico, strengthening his connection with diverse audiences. XTK is known for capturing the essence of Latin rhythm and translating it into a contemporary language blending house and minimal. His catalog includes releases on RetailRecords, Cuff, and Duff, earning recognition from figures like Andruss and Joeski, with key performances at Off The Grid, Bauhaus, and The Cute. The EP opens with Ebbola, a dark, tribal, and edgy track: tight and dry kick drum, aggressive bassline driving the rhythm, sharp percussion, and a distorted male vocal in Brazilian Portuguese repeating Ebbola as a tribal mantra, creating a wild ritualistic atmosphere ideal for intense underground sets. Percussion elements like tribal toms, bright hats, and metallic FX fill the space without overwhelming it, while production details and a precise structure —clean intros, rising builds, and punchy drops— make this track a perfect tool for DJs seeking raw but controlled energy. Following is Oi 909, maintaining the tribal spirit with percussion inspired by the iconic 909 drum machine, a solid and warm bassline, and a cheeky Brazilian male vocal delivering explicit phrases like ela sabe que é gostosa and é bola que é uma delícia.
