11xxx27 returns on Infidel Bodies with a new tape release ‘Black Market’. A dense mix of noise/ambient textures and hints of primordial electronic sounds give birth to an EP with a strong isolationist and reflective character towards the current technological domination. “Domination of technology” refers to the devious control of every aspect of our lives (social media, surveillance, data mining, fake news, etc.). It is a controversial and aberrant space of confrontation where recognizing whether we are fruitors or slaves of technology becomes complicated. Black Market is a mostly ambient/experimental album inspired by unusual combinations and spatial properties of audio. Samplers, field recording, synthesizers and sound processing are the tools of 11xxx27, which engages in a subversive process to illustrate its vision of the modern world.
