Currently based in London – ADRIANNA is an artist firmly on the ascent. With previous releases on Alan Fitzpatricks We Are The Brave, Terminal M and Kurai – shes an astute producer with an innate ability to channel complex emotions into deep, kinetic Techno. Here, she demonstrates impressive range with a 2-tracker bearing 2 disparate sides. To begin with – ADRIANNA toils in her shadow side and presents Demon Mind – a tense, urgent banger that generates an acute sense of turmoil. Fear, angst and pain are communicated through feral sonics and the result is an explosive Techno cut that punches with rig-devstating ferocity. Jack – a track with regular collaborator Reaktive – follows up, rattling out of the blocks with a bold, purposeful stride. Together the pair perfectly balance rich, emotive melody with brash, serrated sonics and the resultant combination is heady gear for mobile, eyes down ravers. Theres a deep sense of motivation and mobility in the track; a tangible feeling of grit, challenge and overcoming adversity that comes together with prog stabs, caustic acid hits and thunderous drums – all of which reach a potent crescendo that wraps up a relentless record designed to move mind, body and spirit.
