With Haptik, EXXIF marks a striking new chapter in the artistic journey of Jamie Gilsenan. Known to many in the trance world under his former alias Mark Leanings, Gilsenan now steps boldly into the hard techno arena, delivering a sound that is heavier, darker, and unmistakably his own. Haptik is EXXIFs debut release on the label, and it captures the raw energy and physicality that defines the hardgroove side of the hard techno movement. Adding even more weight to the project, the EP features a remix from MarAxe, whose interpretation pushes the track into even harder, more aggressive territory.
