Float Records proudly welcomes Tiemoko Kone for his debut EP Rangiriri a timeless release with a style best described as sci-fi for the floor. Written largely during an extended studio retreat earlier this year in New Zealands Rangiriri region, the EP reflects Tiemokos creative break from Berlin and captures a sense of exploration and renewal. Each track begins with a distinct riff, building into profound soundscapes and intricate rhythms that draw inspiration from his Malian roots. Recently, Tiemoko has been weaving African rhythms and syncopation into his music, creating grooves that feel alive with energy and movement. Futuristic, warm, hypnotic yet dynamic, Rangiriri embodies the forward-thinking spirit of Float Records in pure form.
