Alkem and Biereda join forces on Vertex, a collaborative EP built around hypnotic rhythms, restrained tension and detailed sound design. Across three original tracks, the duo explore subtle shifts in groove and texture, allowing repetition and nuance to drive the narrative forward. The title track Vertex anchors the release with a focused, rolling flow, later reinterpreted by Rawdecks with a deeper, more driving perspective that pushes the rhythm into late-night territory. Breathwork unfolds through layered pulses, evolving atmospheres and guided, spiritual vocal elements that add a meditative dimension, while Niklass reshapes it into a breakbeat driven, more forceful and forward-moving version without losing its hypnotic core. Closing the originals, Ogoun leans into ritualistic energy, balancing raw momentum with refined control. Vertex stands as a cohesive statement.
