Known for slipping effortlessly between NYCs jazz circles and its underground electronic corners, Berns brings his blend of rhythmic instinct, textural detail, and hands-on musicianship to a project that feels personal, raw, and straight-up alive. Over the past few years, Zach has carved out his own unusual lane, bouncing between cross-genre collabs, experimental collectives, and forward-thinking R&B, jazz, and electronic scenes. With Oh Yes! he distills all of that experience into a tight, no-frills statement, born from months of back-and-forth ideas, late-night tweaks, and genuine creative chemistry with the Apparel Music crew.
