Berlin’s Antimodus Records proudly presents the “Grain Damage EP”, AM015, a transformative work by the legendary US producer Andrei Morant. A true architect of the techno movement. Morant has been active as a DJ since 1986 and is widely regarded as a true techno original. His 1990s records helped define an era, and that long arc of experience is audible here: disciplined groove science, a deep sense of momentum, and the kind of tension-and-release that only comes from decades behind decks and in the studio. The release is further elevated by a powerful remix contribution from Tim Xavier. Known for his raw, hypnotic approach to techno, Xavier reinterprets Morant’s vision with a fresh perspective, adding another dimension to an already compelling package. The collaboration bridges generations of techno excellence, uniting two artists who share a deep commitment to the craft.
