Citizens Of Vice returns for 2026 following a relocation from its Jura base in France to the Yorkshire moors. The move marks a new chapter for the label, while maintaining its focus on Balearic, disco and eclectic electronica. Following the success of his previous EP, The Lake, the label welcomes back BAL 5000, aka Balint Forgacs. The Lake reached No.1 on Juno Download in the Nu Disco, Balearic and Electro charts, appeared across numerous DJ charts, radio shows and podcasts, and sullied many a dance floor along the way. The new EP, Bukit Days, is inspired by Balints long-standing connection to Bali, its surf culture, beach bars, clubs and surrounding wildlife. The tracks reflect the different sides of the island: early sessions by the sea, long afternoons, and nights that drift from bars into dancefloors. While the overall BAL 5000 sound remains consistent, the EP introduces subtle shifts in mood and energy. Each track brings its own character but sits comfortably alongside its brethren, making Bukit Days feel cohesive from start to finish.
