Celebrating International Women’s Week, Toolroom proudly release ‘Funky Operator’ by female DJ and producer Nausica. As part of Toolroom’s programme for developing female talent ‘We Are Listening’, Toolroom hosted a women’s only writing camp at the start of the year, welcoming over 20 female producers and vocalists to our London studios to write and collaborate. Here’s one of our favourites from what was an incredible week… with more to follow! Nausica is no stranger to the label. An established DJ and producer, who’s garnered DJ support from the likes of Carl Cox, Solomun, Jamie Jones, Claptone, Solardo, Mau P and of course Mark Knight. ‘Funky Operator’ is a funk fuelled Tech House roller with an infectious groove that’s guaranteed support over the forthcoming months.
