The real name now takes over and WE PLAY ACID label is proud to present our official debut of SUMMITT ROUSS, the producer behind the label’s explosive first release as FLEX ROCK. Hailing from Toronto, Summitt Rouss now releases music under his birth name. This statement is pure and powerful, focused on dancefloor rhythm and the classic sound of acid house, but with today’s production strength. The sound is direct, hypnotic, and made to make you move. It’s the heart of Acid, beating louder than ever. This release features two special remixers. The talented DJ CACIARES from Santiago, Chile creates a time-traveling journey with his remix. He takes us straight to the euphoric atmosphere of the late 80s/90s Rave scene, capturing the magic of that era with a modern sound. The final track is a Retweak by the label’s own founder, ACID DRIVER. His version is a direct link to the genre’s roots, keeping the raw energy and feeling of the original dance floors alive, but with a fresh drive.
