A Dub Techno Odyssey” is a compilation that retraces Aeneas’s legendary journey, transforming Virgil’s epic verses into deep, atmospheric soundscapes. Each track embodies a key moment from the Aeneid, reimagined by producers from around the world who share a common sensitivity for dub techno’s hypnotic essence. The concept was born from an idea by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical voyage merging classical mythology with electronic exploration, and came to life through collaboration with the Superordinate label, always attentive to experimental and globally inspired projects. The result is an evocative and immersive experience, where pulsating rhythms and reverberating textures lead the listener through the emotional and spiritual odyssey of Aeneas — from the ruins of Troy to the founding of a new destiny.
