VIT makes his second appearance on the Mood Series, following closely after his feature on #138. The Ukrainian producer is refining a sound that balances spacious atmosphere with underlying vintage production and power. The title track, ‘Distant’ has a confident beat while layers of interference drift in and out like signal ghosts. There’s a subtle restraint here that makes the track especially effective: hypnotic enough to lose yourself in, yet punchy enough to function in a club setting.
