Berlin based producer and DJ BEC returns with ‘Attuned’, the opening single of her forthcoming album project ATTUNEMENT, set to arrive later this year on her imprint EMBARGO. A fixture within the international techno circuit for over a decade, BEC has carved a reputation for her precise, high impact productions and uncompromising sound design. Her music has landed on respected labels including ARTCORE and trip, while her explosive DJ sets have taken her to renowned stages including Fabric, Amnesia Ibiza, Awakenings Festival, Amsterdam Dance Eventand more. With ‘Attuned’, she begins a new chapter. The track introduces a forthcoming body of work exploring the idea of attunement, the process of calibrating signal, emotion and instinct in a world increasingly saturated by noise. Drawing from her interest in the mind body connection and the influence of frequency on human states, BEC channels these forces into sound. The upcoming album ATTUNEMENT will see BEC expand into more experimental territory while retaining the raw intensity of her signature techno sound. Across the project, emotional pressure, instinct and control are translated into tightly structured compositions that combine driving techno frameworks with deeper atmospheric and psy leaning textures. Serving as the entry point to the album’s narrative, ‘Attuned’ channels this philosophy into sonic form. Hypnotic rhythms, tightly wound percussion and evolving synth pressure build a dense atmosphere of tension and release. As the first glimpse into ATTUNEMENT, the track sets the tone for what promises to be one of her most cohesive and conceptually ambitious bodies of work to date.
