After a long period of silence, Warok returns after 15 months without releases. Since its beginning, the label has always navigated between ambient, electro and techno, exploring different sonic territories while maintaining its own identity. With this new chapter, Warok also enters a new visual era, introducing a different aesthetic direction from what the label previously presented. To mark this return, we welcome Rosewood, a French artist from Lille. He previously appeared on the label under the alias RSWD on the Warok 2-year anniversary VA released in 2018. This time, he returns with his first EP on Warok. A Distant Journey unfolds through a range of influences, combining deep atmospheres, break-driven rhythms, acid textures and percussive beats, creating an immersive and evolving sonic landscape.
