When we speak about trust, true friendship, and a deep connection to our label, Tassilo Vanhöfen is the first name that comes to mind. From the very beginning, he has been part of our story. He joined our first podcast series, contributed a track to our first compilation, and later released an EP with us. His stunning remix work has shaped many of our projects, and he even appeared on our very first cassette release. When we started our events, he was the first guest we invited. He has always believed in us. Today, when we say Electric Shapes, we think of Tassilo. There was only one thing missing: a vinyl release. And in Tassilo’s discography, one thing was missing too — a debut album. So we connected the dots and are proud to present his first full-length release. This album is a true portrait of the artist. It takes you through many fields of electronic music: from shamanic ambient to chuggy, dubby grooves; from atmospheric breaks to powerful acid. All of it filled with breathtaking melodies.
