Label boss Gio Lucca and Braydon Terzo join forces for ‘I Need A Sweet,’ a two-track EP built around contrasting interpretations of the same idea – one aimed squarely at the underground dancefloor, the other pushing into darker indie dance territory. The original mix blends both artists’ signature sounds through tight 808-inspired drums, crisp hats, cowbell grooves, classic M1 organ textures, and a rolling bassline designed for late-night club settings. Stripped-back yet energetic, the track locks into a hypnotic groove while maintaining a clean and minimal approach built for the dancefloor. On the flip side, the ‘Sugar Mix’ takes the record into a completely different space. Heavy synth work, punchier drums, and retro-inspired textures transform the track into a darker indie dance cut with a more cinematic feel. While the core identity of the record remains intact, the alternate version expands the EP beyond the club into a more emotive and synth-driven experience.
