Brazilian progressive veteran Gorkiz returns to Timeless Moment following the success of his acclaimed remix for Morttagua’s “Amunet,” which received strong support from Hernan Cattaneo. This time, however, he steps forward with his first original EP for the label, joining forces with rising Brazilian talent Tavaresgui for the powerful two-track journey “Axion / Black Sun.” The title track “Axion” channels the spirit of classic progressive “Pryda” sounds with hypnotic riffs, driving basslines, and an evolving groove designed for peak-time immersion. Its carefully layered percussion and gradual progression create a magnetic flow that keeps the listener suspended in motion. On the second chapter, “Black Sun,” the duo dives deeper into atmospheric territory, blending modern progressive grooves with luminous 3D plucks and slowly unfolding ambiences. The contrast between dark textures and radiant melodies gives the track an almost esoteric energy — as if light itself were emerging from within the void.
