Jan Fleck returns with his latest full-length studio album: Process is a 12-track journey through immersive dark textures, hypnotic sound design, distorted fractured breaks, and fast-paced kicks. Years in the making, the project was recorded, completed, buried, revived, and rearranged countless times. Rather than serving as a showcase of modern-sounding club tracks, the album focuses on overall vibe and the sonic concepts of tension and movement — elements that can be heard in almost every detail of the production: slow modulations, extensive programming, and heavily edited layering are the tools of choice for the process. The result is a consistent sound signature that remains recognizable throughout the entire runtime.
