Returning to Enormous Vision, Germany-based artist SAFARIS delivers Mirage, a two-track EP mapping different phases of the same night — escape, then return. The title track is built around the feeling of chasing moments that exist only briefly: a connection on a dancefloor that belongs to a single instant. Repetitive synth motifs, a rolling low-end and processed vocal fragments — treated as emotional instruments rather than conventional vocals — hold the listener in a state of hypnotic suspension, building steadily without fully resolving. ‘Sundown’ shifts the register toward reflection, drawing on the cinematic comedown when the city quietly wakes and everything feels briefly heightened. Warmer, more nostalgic, but rooted in the same analog-inspired synth palette and patient melodic arc.
