To celebrate their 8th anniversary, Art Bei Ton is releasing a special compilation featuring collaborative tracks by artists affiliated with the label, alongside remixes of some of its standout releases. Evolving between hypnotic, deep techno and breaky sounds, this VA captures the label’s sonic identity through a diverse selection of forward-thinking productions, blending immersive atmospheres, driving rhythms, and trippy textures. Bringing together both familiar names and new connections within the roster, the compilation reflects eight years of artistic evolution and dedication to underground electronic music. Opening with a collab between two long-standing residents, Andrea Cossu and Aksamit, ‘Hibiscus’ showcases a 10-minute hypnotic journey built around evolving textures, deep pulsating grooves, and subtle atmospheric tension. Lina K teams up with Eric Cloutier on ‘Agastopia’, a breaky and deep techno cut that blends Lina K’s refined hypnotic touch with the legendary groove-driven style of Eric Cloutier. On ‘Brainiac’, the talented Potuguese artist Veiga joins forces with Art Bei Ton label head Hypnotic Black Magic for a deep and driving techno track infused with hypnotic energy and trippy textures. Berlin-based DJs and producers Igadi and Nnamael deliver ‘Liminal Void’, a dark and atmospheric techno excursion built around deep tension and haunting soundscapes. On ‘Proclomation (Solarythm Dub Vision)’, French artist Solarythm revisits the original track by Australian act Autogenesis, transforming it into a breaky, hypnotic and ritualistic techno experience. Berlin-based artist Toxido Mask reinterprets Korean producer Ujin’s ambient piece ‘At The Gate Of Ishtar’ into an evolving, atmospheric and hypnotic techno journey. Colombian artist Red Noise delivers a hypnotic and trippy remix of ‘Suguna’, originally crafted by UK artist Einerlei for the EP of the same name. French producer Nao Nhil revisits Solarythm’s best-selling track ‘Mā Yabqā’, reshaping it into an intense, tension-filled and hypnotic solar-infused techno trip. To round off this VA, Einerlei delivers a powerful Drum’n’Bass reinterpretation of ‘Aankh’ by talented Indian artist Kohra, offering us a perfect closing tune.
